Hello backers, 

This is just a quick update to say that we are putting the finishing touches on the book. It looks great and is just about ready to go to the printer. We expect it to be on the presses in the next couple of weeks, and remain well ahead of our original projected schedule. 

We have been reaching out to the Kadath and Leng tier backers about the original art rewards, and all other rewards and add-ons will ship once the books are in stock. Our current conservative estimate is that that will be sometime this winter, several months ahead of our original projections, but we will of course keep you informed as to any changes. In the meantime, keep an eye out for further updates in the next couple of months with some behind-the-scenes peeks!

We are deeply grateful to all of you for helping us to fund this project and to reach our Digital Sketchbook stretch goal, and we are looking forward to bringing you this gorgeous Marco Furlotti-illustrated edition of The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath. We will continue to send regular updates through the production process to keep you informed of our progress and to share fun peeks behind the scenes. 

What happens now?

We will of course be hard at work producing the books, which happily should be ready to go to the printer quite soon, but we wanted to let you know what to expect on your side. 

First, you will be charged by Kickstarter soon if you have not been already. 

If there is an issue—a typo in your card number, you used an account that has since expired or been closed, etc.—you will receive a notice from Kickstarter. Please keep an eye out to make sure that if you get such a notice, you are able to address the issue.

Next, we will start the fulfilment process. 

This will include a "survey" that you will need to complete in order to receive your rewards. This is not an opinion survey or market research or anything like that; it is an essential questionnaire that provides us with key information like your address. If you don't complete it, we won't know where to send your stuff! If you're anything like us, this email will be buried in your inbox within a day or two, so we recommend filling it out as soon as possible—you will be able to make changes later if needed. We expect to start sending these in about 2-3 weeks, but we will send another update to let you know when they start to go out, as well as one to let you know when they have all been sent.

If you backed at one of our higher tiers that included an original illustration, you will be contacted directly via email to select your specific reward. We ask that you be patient with this component as backers will have the option to choose in the order in which they backed, and individual choices may take some time. 

Miss something during the campaign?

There will also be an opportunity to add more items during this 'late backer' phase. We will have more details on this process in coming updates, but backers will be able to add on more copies of the book, more Helios House Press Lovecraftiana, and we plan to have some additional items to offer as well, so keep an eye out for these updates!

Final days of the campaign!

Hello everyone, 

The campaign is drawing to a close, and we are thrilled that we are going to be able to produce the book, but there is still time to help us reach one or two of our stretch goals, and more importantly, there are still a few of the original paintings from the book that are up for grabs through our Kadath tier. 

This art is truly beautiful and original. Take a look at the below video for a closer look at it, and consider upgrading or sharing the campaign with friends. You can also adjust your pledge to add extra copies of the book through the 'Add-ons' function. 

We'll be in touch with some information on next steps after the campaign closes on Thursday, and we'll be sharing more behind-the-scenes content as the books are in production, but for now, we just want to thank you once more for your support.

Thank you so much for helping us to reach our funding goal! We are thrilled that we are going to be able to make this beautiful book a reality. Please see the video below for a personal thank you from illustrator Marco Furlotti. 

Please continue to spread the word about this project. We have some great stretch goals in store if we can keep expanding support, including a digital sketchbook showing the evolution of the illustrations in the book, and a beautiful hand-letterpress-printed ex libris bookplate to go with each book. And please keep a look out for another update from us soon. We are cooking up something extra for our Celephaïs level backers...
